The Monash Initiative for Global Health Improvement (MIGHI) aims to advance global health by building public health research capabilities and outputs in low and middle-income countries. By harnessing the research expertise from across Monash University and its international campuses in Malaysia and South Africa, MIGHI is building collaborative research and capacity building links with other (inter)national institutions in areas that include: prevention and control of chronic disease, health systems improvement, occupational and environmental health, humanitarian response and human rights.
